COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The Air Force Academy’s Class of 2014 learned their future Air Force jobs Wednesday.
The 1,011 senior cadets received their Air Force Specialty Codes – aka career field - today, through the Commandant of Cadets. Ninety-five percent of cadets received either their first, second or third choice of Air Force specialties, which breaks down further as:
• 63 percent of USAFA cadets received first choice,
• 23 percent received second choice, and
• 9 percent received third choice
