Hunters Point Boat Ramp closes for repairs

HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Old Hickory Lake is closing Hunters Point Boat Ramp in Lebanon, Tenn., today and Station Camp Creek Boat Ramp in Gallatin, Tenn., beginning Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2013.

The closures for public access to the boat ramps are for the pouring and replacement of concrete slabs used on the boat ramp.

Facility Manager Greg Thomas said that the closure will be for approximately three weeks so that the concrete slabs can properly cure.

“Both ramps were on our list to repair this fall,” said Thomas. “We plan to have both boat ramps completed by Thanksgiving, weather permitting, so that our winter hunters will have easy and safe access on opening day.”

For any questions pertaining to the repair, please call the Old Hickory Lake Resource Manager’s Office at 615-822-4846 or 615-847-2395.
