Japan Ground Self-Defense Force unit wins U.S. Army Japan & I Corps (Forward) command general honors

CAMP ZAMA, Japan - Uniformed members from units stationed on Camp Zama, Japan, hit the pavement just after the sun's rays started the day Oct. 10.

This first bilateral run was led by the commander of the Japan Ground Self Defense Force's Central Readiness Force, Lt. Gen. Masahiro Hidaka, and U.S. Army Japan and I Corps (Forward)'s commanding general, Maj. Gen. James Boozer Sr., along with their respective command sergeants major. Hundreds followed in trail through a winding course over warming pavement of the installation. Units from the U.S. Army, JGSDF and U.S. Air Force participated. (Photos by Kiyoshi Tokeshi)
