PARRIS ISLAND, S.C. - New Marines of Lima Company, 3rd Recruit Training Battalion, passed their final graduation requirement, the battalion commander’s inspection, Sept. 4, 2013, on Parris Island, S.C.
The new Marines spent hours preparing their uniforms, cleaning rifles, and studying for the inspection. The battalion commander and several other senior Marines inspected the company on their appearance, bearing and knowledge of general military subjects. Lima Company is scheduled to graduate Sept. 6, 2013.
