Lankford Center Airmen rise in recognition

MCGHEE TYSON AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE, Tenn. - Their recognition as top airmen here this quarter recently rose above the I.G. Brown Training and Education Center to recognition as top airmen serving for the Air National Guard Readiness Center.

All three of the TEC's current Airmen of the Quarter were recently recognized as the ANGRC's Senior Noncommissioned Officer, NCO and Airman of the Quarter.

The awardees were announced today.

The Air National Guard Readiness Center's SNCO of the Quarter is Master Sgt. Veronica Ross, director of education assigned from the active duty Air Force. Noncommissioned Officer of the Quarter is Tech. Sgt. Kasimu Greenidge, an active duty assigned instructor. Airman of the Quarter is Senior Airman Aaron Rush, an active duty assigned airmen who serves in Student Operations.

The airmen work for the TEC's Paul H. Lankford Enlisted Professional Military Education Center. The Center delivers both Noncommissioned Officer Academy and Airman Leadership School to thousands of Total Air Force students each year, as well as Coast Guard and international students.

The I.G. Brown Training and Education Center is one of other detachments and operating locations of the Air National Guard Readiness Center that is based at Joint Base Andrews, Md.

The TEC's more than 80 assigned personnel are considered part of the ANGRC's hundreds of Total Force airmen and civilian employees who help support the National Guard's day-to-day operations.
