108th ADA conducts Operation Clean Sweep

FORT BRAGG, N.C. - The Fort Bragg Batteries of the 108th Air Defense Artillery Brigade conducted Operation Clean Sweep Phase II here May 13–17.

Operation Clean Sweep is an enduring and highly-active campaign to continue to re-establish a culture of supply discipline and property accountability through accounting for all supplies, materials and equipment as well as, reintegrating excess equipment into the supply system to enhance overall unit readiness.

This enduring property accountability campaign is an Army-wide initiative to instill a culture of good supply discipline and ensure property accountability at every level.

The objective of Phase II is to conduct 100 percent property accountability and thorough commodities management.

To meet this guidance the tasks was to clean up property books, conduct wall-to-wall inventories, MTOE scrub by line item number, complete internal lateral transfers, identify excess of all classes of supply and coordinate turn-in of excess/receive disposition instructions.

All 108th Air Defense Artillery Batteries at Fort Bragg conducted inventories of all installation and organizational equipment, to include containers and storage areas, and all classes of supply. Excess class I, II, IIIP, IV, and IX were also turned-in.
