UNITED STATES AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. - Air Force Academy Cadet 4th Class James L. Walsh died Saturday night in the cadet area.
Academy personnel found Cadet Walsh, contacted emergency services and attempted to revive him using life saving measures without success.
The Commandant of Cadets informed the Cadet Wing of the death this morning.
"The Academy is deeply saddened by the tragic loss we suffered Saturday," said Lt. Gen. Mike Gould, Superintendent of the Air Force Academy. "As we grieve the passing of James, we ask that everyone keep his family and friends in their thoughts and prayers."
The cause of death is under investigation.
Academy personnel are coordinating funeral arrangements with the cadet's family.
