DCMA director visits LMD

DENVER, Colo. - Defense Contract Management Agency Lockheed Martin Denver recently provided a top-level overview of LMD programs, mission successes and challenges to agency Director Charlie E. Williams, Jr., and Scott Blank, DCMA executive director of Strategic Effects during their visit to the contract management office here.

Although the visit was brief, Williams set aside a block of time to meet with developmental program employees, to include Keystones. The purpose of the meeting was to hear concerns and address questions pertaining to the DCMA experiences of the new employees.

Following the meeting, Williams attended an All Hands meeting where he passed information to the field and presented several awards and director’s coins in recognition of employee contributions. William’s remarks covered topics about upcoming issues for the agency and he emphasized the importance of information flow from CMO-level employees to agency leadership. He also answered questions and addressed employee concerns before leaving.

“It’s been a pleasure to have Mr. Williams and Mr. Blank out to visit DCMA LMD,” said Air Force Col. Gordon Griffin, CMO commander. “We enjoy every opportunity to show our agency leadership all the good things we’re doing at our CMO and we’re glad they had the chance to come here."
