    By Builder Constructionman Jessica Smith

KUWAIT - Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 133 Detail Bravo hosted a visit from Commanding Officer Cmdr. Nick Yamodis and Command Master Chief David Garcia Nov. 15.

Detail Bravo used the opportunity to familiarize the visitors with the myriad of ongoing and completed projects where the Seabees had expended more than 2,400 man days of labor in construction, maintenance and training.

One project highlighted was a laundry facilities rehabilitation supervised by crew leader Builder 2nd Class Jesse G. Dupin that was the first to be planned and executed solely by the detail since the start of their deployment.

Yamodis also took advantage of the visit to present several awards.

Builder 1st Class Jesse Koehn was presented with a Navy Achievement Medal for his work as project supervisor on the Naval Air Station Corpus Christi boat ramp completed during the last homeport period. Logistics Specialist Seaman Francis Brzezinski was pinned as a Seabee Combat Warrior by his SCWS mentor, Construction Electrician 2nd Class Casey Cole, and presented his certificate by Yamodis. Lt. j.g. Mathew Ward, the detail's officer in charge, also received his SCW pin.

NMCB 133 is currently deployed to the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility to support engineering operations.
