TF White Eagle PAO
GHAZNI PROVINCE, Afghanistan—International Joint Command commander Lt. Gen. Curtis M. Scaparrotti visited Polish soldiers based in Ghazni, Nov. 30.
During the visit Scaparrotti met with Task Force White Eagle commander Brig. Gen. Piotr Blazeusz, Col. Jan Rydz, TF White Eagle deputy commander and coalition deputy commander, Col. Thomas Purple, and other task force personnel.
Scaparrotti was briefed on the task force’s structure and tasks, winter campaign plan and Afghan National Security Force partnership. Plans for the task force’s relocation and consolidation were also discussed.
In a brief speech, Scaparrotti emphasized the importance of partnering with and the cooperation of ANSF and Government Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in context of security transition process.
