JOINT BASE LEWIS-MCCHORD, Wash. -- Participants for Air Mobility Rodeo 2011 formed up for opening ceremonies for Rodeo on July 24, 2011, at Joint Base Lewis-McChord.
More than 150 teams and 3,000 people from the Air Force, and Air Force Reserve, as well as allied nations participated in Rodeo. During the opening ceremonies, the teams stood together to represent their respective bases and countries.
Rodeo 2011, sponsored by the Air Mobility Command, is the mobility air force's readiness competition, according to the Rodeo fact sheet. This competition focuses on improving worldwide air mobility forces' professional core abilities.
Air Mobility 2011 will be held at McChord Field, Wash., from July 24-29, 2011.
