Tal Afar, Iraq " A ribbon cutting ceremony was held for the opening of a newly built Iraqi police station in the Al Saria neighborhood of Tal Afar May 31.
Present at the ceremony were Soldiers from the 511th Military Police Company and Col. Mahmood, deputy Tal Afar district headquarters commander, who took part in cutting the ribbon officially opening the station.
This is the only IP station in the Tal Afar district that was built from the ground up. The old station was located in a school that will now be renovated and reopened for the citizens of Tal Afar.
