MARINE CORPS AIR STATION CHERRY POINT, N.C. - Highlighting Cherry Point's warriors.
Q: What’s your job?
A: My job is to network and maintain radios for the tactical air command center as well as give classes to the new Marines on the gear we use at Marine Tactical Air Command Squadron 28.
Q: What’s your favorite aspect of your job?
A: My favorite part is learning about the always changing technology that we use here, and the other part is teaching what I have learned to the new Marines.
Q: What’s the most challenging part?
A: The hardest part is wearing all the hats that are needed of me by my shop. I am a non-commissioned officer, a technician and then a family man. It is hard to keep them all separate and in their place.
Q: How does your job support the mission of 2nd MAW?
A: We support Cherry Point by supporting the tactical air command center. Keeping them operational is our top priority.
Q: How does your job differ from garrison to the field?
A: In garrison our job is maintenance really, where as in the field we are setting up command centers for the TACC and providing more direct support.
