A group representing the 910th Airlift Wing, based at nearby Youngstown Air Reserve Station, Ohio, were on hand for the annual YARS Night Out with the Mahoning Valley Scrappers at Eastwood Field, Aug. 20, 2025. 910th Reserve Airmen were involved in pre-game and in-game activities including a ceremonial first pitch, presenting the colors, singing ‘Take Me Out to the Ball Game’ at the seventh inning stretch as well as concourse displays by YARS Air Force Reserve Recruiting Service, the YARS Fire Department and the 910th Airlift Wing Public Affairs office. YARS Night Out was held during the last of six Military Appreciation Wednesday home games during the Scrappers 2025 season. The Scrappers defeated the West Virginia Black Bears by a score of 9-3. The Scrappers organization presented more than 650 complimentary tickets to servicemembers, civilian employees as well as family and friends assigned to YARS this season.
