U.S. Army Gen. William W. Crouch assumed command of NATO's implementation forces Nov. 7 during ceremonies here.
Crouch adds IFOR to his duties as commander of U.S. Army Europe and NATO's Allied Land Forces Central Europe. He succeeds U.S. Navy Adm. Thomas J. Lopez, who returned to Naples, Italy, to continue his dual role as commander of U.S. Naval Forces Europe, and NATO's Allied Forces Southern Europe.
