    KABUL, Afghanistan – U.S. Special Operations Forces are partnering with Afghan Commandos in Baghlan Province to conduct clearing operations to locate improvised explosive devices and enhance security in local villages and towns throughout the region.

    “Our partnerships with the Afghan Security Forces and the people are creating safer conditions for Afghan citizens and Coalition forces,” said Navy Lt. Arlo Abrahamson, a Combined Forces Special Operations Component Command spokesman. “We are seeing an increased trend with Afghans rejecting insurgent activity.”
