    Army Parachute Team Announces 1996 Schedule

    Performances in England, Canada and the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta highlight the U.S. Army Parachute Team's 1996 schedule.

    The Golden Knights will perform during opening ceremonies of the 1996 Summer Games on July 19 and return to Atlanta Aug. 15 for the World Paralymics. They will also perform at Air Fete '96 festivities at Royal Air Force Base in Mildenhall, Great Britain, and at the Lethbridge Air Show in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada.

    This year, the Golden Knight's Black and Gold teams will make 138 appearances in 35 states.  They open their 1996 season with open house festivities at the Yuma (Ariz.) Marine Corps Air Station Open House Feb. 24 and close the year at Pope Air Force Base, N.C., Nov. 10.
