MARINE CORPS BASE QUANTICO, Va. – U.S. Marine Corps Col. Scott Warman relinquished command of Marine Corps Air Facility Quantico to Lt. Col. Ethan Krumnow at MCAF, May 22.

The ceremony highlighted Warman’s leadership as the commanding officer, where he enabled over 9,300 flight hours and more than 500 worldwide detachments for the presidential airlift mission.

"It has been one of the greatest honors of my career to serve as commanding officer of MCAF Quantico," said Warman. “I want to thank the incredible men and women, both military and civilian, that make this facility a model of excellence, mission readiness and professional growth.”

Warman passed the flag to Krumnow, a tradition in the Corps that signifies the change of command from the previous CO to the next.

Krumnow, following the passing of duties, expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to lead and pledged to continue fostering the high standards set by his predecessor.

"I feel honored, grateful, humble and really excited,” said Krumnow. “It is a privilege to assume command of MCAF Quantico.”
