Continuing to build partnerships
and maintain readiness across
Southwest Asia The 168th Theater
Engineer Brigade (TEB), Task Force
Southern Castle, and the 107th
Engineer Battalion, Task Force
Snortin' Bull, recently conducted
partnership engagements with the
Kuwaiti Land Forces!
Staff members of the 107th
Engineer Battalion attended a
groundbreaking ceremony early in
June at a Kuwait range with the host
nation's military in Kuwait. Building
these relationships with our partners
helps the Soldiers of Task Force
Southern Castle and Task Force
Snortin' Bull establish cohesion and
a common wealth of knowledge
with their partners, especially across
the battlespace.
The 168th TEB staff members
also participated in a partnership
engagement recently. The staff
toured the Kuwait Military Explosive
Ordnance Disposal Museum and
their Engineer School. As the
engineer brigade and subject
matter experts in the engineering
field while in theater, nesting with
the coalition forces in the same
field allows both entities to share
a common understanding of each
other's capabilities, equipment,
strengths, and even any weaknesses.
Both the 168th TEB and the 107th
Engineer Battalion continue to
shape the engineering operations
throughout the Southwest Asia
region while working with their
partner nations to increase stability
throughout the theater engineer
brigade area of responsibility.
Partnerships also allow U.S. Soldiers
across the area of responsibility
to interact one-on-one with the
coalition forces and experience
a different environment that they
might not have seen before.
