JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-LACKLAND, Texas -- Col. Richard Wallace accepted command of the 960th Cyberspace Operations Group, 960th Cyberspace Wing, at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas, during a change of command ceremony Oct. 15, 2022. Wallace was the Individual Mobilization Augmentee to the 567th Cyberspace Operations Group commander at JBSA-Lackland.
As commander of the 960th COG, Wallace is responsible for the operations and staff activities of seven direct-reporting units and over 700 military and civilian personnel across four different states. He organizes, trains, equips and presents reserve forces to Air Forces Cyber, 16th Air Force and U.S. Cyber Command.
