JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-FORT SAM HOUSTON - (Oct. 14, 2022) A rise in rank is an honor and means a lot to service members who tirelessly perform their duties daily to protect and defend. In recognition of their Naval dedication, Interior Communications Electrician Petty Officer Second Class Naomi G. Ramos, Machinist Mate Second Class Petty Officer Heidi Salazar, and Aviation Boatswain's Mate Petty Officer Second Class Ignacio M. Tobar received authorization to assume the title of and wear the uniform of First-Class Petty Officer. Each Sailor was pinned in the presence of family members and members of the Navy Talent Acquisition Group (NTAG) San Antonio.
NTAG San Antonio's Commanding Officer, CDR Stephanie Simoni, accompanied by CDR Stacey O’Neal, Executive Officer, and CMDCM Samuel Bernal, Command Master Chief welcomed and presented the Sailors with the well-deserved honor.
Ramos, Salazar, and Tobar thanked the Command for the recognition, guests, and those who have mentored and supported their Naval Careers.
