    NEWS RELEASE: ITES-SW CONTRACT EXTENDED

FORT BELVOIR, Va. – The Army Computer Hardware Enterprise Software and Solutions (CHESS) office, in coordination with the Army Contracting Command – Rock Island (ACC-RI), awarded a contract extension for Information Technology Enterprise Solutions – Software (ITES-SW) on August 5, 2020.

ITES-SW is a firm-fixed-price contract. The ITES-SW contract vehicle has been extended two months, allowing Army customers uninterrupted access to the three prime vendors supporting critical Army missions.

The scope of the ITES-SW contract includes commercial-of-the-shelf (COTS) software products and related services applicable under the following categories:

    IT Utility & Security

    Modeling & Simulation

    Multimedia & Design

    Program & Development

The contract extension applies to the following vendors:

    W52P1J-15-D-0006 Four Inc.

    W52P1J-15-D-0007 Immix Technology

    W52P1J-15-D-0008 Carahsoft Technology Corporation

The extension was needed because the follow-on, ITES-SW2, is currently in source selection. CHESS Product Lead Wayne Sok states, “the extension will allow Army customers uninterrupted access to this important software vehicle at no fee as we continue to process orders through the CHESS' online RFQ Tool on the CHESS IT e-mart website.”
