FORT BENNING, Ga — On May 6, Maj. Gen. Patrick Donahoe, Commanding General U.S. Army Maneuver Center of Excellence, visited the U.S. Army Tank-automotive and Armaments Command’s Fleet Maintenance Expansion team at Fort Benning, Georgia.
During his visit Donahoe toured the logistics organizations on the installation to include re-familiarizing himself with the mission and facilities which the FMX supports, and the Programs of Instruction that the MCoE conducts.
While touring the Combat Systems Division, Donahoe was able to observe how the FMX employees support the MCoE tracked equipment and wheeled combat systems that supply the division.
Throughout his visit, Donahoe offered his thanks to the employees and supervisors who play an important part in maintaining the MCoE’s operational readiness and recognized several members of the team with MCOE’s Commander’s Coin for Excellence.
