    JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-CHAPMAN TRAINING ANNEX, Texas
    The 433rd Aeromedical Staging Squadron, 433rd Airlift Wing, participated in an exercise to train in receiving incoming patients here Jan. 9.
    Texas Army National Guard Black Hawk helicopter crews from Martindale Army Field, Texas, airlifted simulated patients from Camp Bullis to Chapman Annex. Once the aircraft arrived, the 433rd ASTS medics practiced offloading patient litters and transporting them to a field hospital staging area.
    The exercise focused on best practices for receiving air medivac wounded personnel from the battle field.
