GRAFENWOEHR, Germany -- 7th Army Training Command Headquarters and Headquarters Company conducted a Change of Command ceremony hosted by Col. William Glaser, chief of staff, May 28, 2020 on Grafenwoehr, Germany. Capt. Jamie Rodriguez, 7th ATC HHC outgoing commander, relinquished command to Capt. “It was an honor to be able to serve with some of the hardest working people in Bavaria,” said Rodriguez. “It was a great experience and I learned a lot as a company commander for such an incredible organization. I hope that I can use the knowledge I’ve gained here to help me accomplish more at my next duty station.”

During his time at as the HHC commander, his hard work and dedication to the unit did not go unnoticed. Glaser personally thanked and and wished him luck in San Antonio, Texas, where he is going to a medical services school.

“Capt. Rodriguez was a huge asset to our organization,” said Glaser. “He was able to accomplish every task we asked of him, and his ability to lead Soldiers and develop leaders speaks volumes to his character.”

Brown, coming from U.S. Army Garrison Bavaria, also remarked on Rodriguez’s leadership.

“He is a great leader,” said Brown. “I look forward to working with this organization, and I am excited to see the kind of challenges I’ll be facing as a commander for such a hard working group of Soldiers.”
