    West Virginia Army National Guard Honors Eleven Retirees

    KINGWOOD, W.Va. - West Virginia Army National Guard Brig. Gen. Russell Crane, Assistant Adjutant General of the W.Va. National Guard, and Command Sgt. Maj. James Jones, State Command Sergeant Major of the W. Va. National Guard, hosted a Reenlistment and Retirement Ceremony at Camp Dawson Saturday, March, 7, 2020. During the ceremony, twenty-four current members of the WVARNG reenlisted. The ceremony consisted of reenlistments, a flag folding ceremony, the honoring of our retirees and their families, opening and closing music by the 249th WVARNG Band and closing remarks from Brig. Gen. Crane.

    During the ceremony, eleven military members were honored for their service to country and state, along with their families for their service of support. Please join us in congratulating these remarkable individuals on closing this chapter in their lives. Lt. Col. Timothy DeBord, Maj. Richard Henning, Command Sgt. Maj. John Edwards, 1st Sgt. Scott Dixon, 1st Sgt. David Hunter, Master Sgt. Heather Rogers, Master Sgt. Charles Smith, Sgt. 1st Class Frank Steed, Sgt. 1st Class Gary Summers, Staff Sgt. Patrick Mayle, and Staff Sgt. Randall Scott.
