SAN ANGELO, Texas --
Goodfellow Air Force Base celebrates the 27th Annual Awards Ceremony Feb. 21 at the McNeese Convention Center, San Angelo, Texas.
The evening started with a Medallion Ceremony, where every nominee received a medallion to wear for the rest of the ceremony. It was also the first chance for friends and family to see each of the nominees receive a medallion. The evening finished with a banquet and announcement of the annual award winners.
The awards went to the following:
Civilian Category I (Non-Supervisory) of the Year: Kristy Ishmael, 17th Communications Squadron
Civilian Category II (Non-Supervisory) of the Year: Martin Zapata, 17th Logistic Readiness Squadron
Civilian Category III (Non-Supervisory) of the Year: Stephanie Grunze-Swanson, 17th Training Wing
Civilian Category IV (Non-Supervisory) of the Year: Julie Cantwell, 517th Training Group
Civilian Category I (Supervisory) of the Year: Adam Jara, 17 Medical Group
Civilian Category II (Supervisory) of the Year: Richard Alter, 17 Civil Engineering Squadron
Civilian Category III (Supervisory) of the Year: Michael Gainey, 17 CES
Honor Guard Member of the Year: Airman 1st Class Sheena Romero, 17 Training Group
