The 1st Theater Sustainment Command selected an Illinois Army National Guard noncommissioned officer as the Sustainer of the Week in the US Central Command area of operations.
The 1st Theater Sustainment Command selected Staff Sgt. Andrew Stoltz of Morris, Illinois, as the Sustainer of the Week. Staff Sgt. Stoltz, an Illinois Army National Guard noncommissioned officer, serves as the human resources noncommissioned officer with the 108th Sustainment Brigade, Task Force Lincoln, Team Blackhawks, US Central Command area of operations. Maj. Gen. John P. Sullivan, commander of the 1st Theater Sustainment Command, awarded Stoltz a coin of excellence and certificate of appreciation.
“Having the opportunity to serve not just the people of the United States, but also be part of this mission that helps the Iraqi Armed Forces be able to sustain their own fighting force,” said Staff Sgt. Andrew Stoltz on what makes him proud. “Staff Sgt. Stoltz exemplifies the integrity of a noncommissioned officer, we are proud of him and we see great potential moving forward,” said Chief Warrant Officer 2 Lucas Miles, the unit’s human resources officer in charge.
Staff Sgt. Stoltz was nominated by his command for his high level of tactical and technical proficiency, variety of knowledge, skills, and experiences that complemented the unit’s mission in Iraq. Task Force Lincoln Team Blackhawks is conducting a logistics advisory mission building coalition partner capabilities.
