The 325th Force Support Squadron’s Outdoor Recreation program offers rentals and trips year-round.

“[We offer] canoes, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, pontoon boats, craig cats, and jet skis,” said Richard Clampitt, 325th FSS Outdoor Recreation program assistant manager. “You can basically do anything around here year-round”.

Anyone born after January 1, 1988, must have their State of Florida boating certificate to drive power boats such as craig cats, pontoon boats, and jet skis.

“November first to March first, it’ll be $100 per day [to rent the pontoon boats] and that includes fuel, where normally it would be $170,” Clampitt added.

Outdoor Recreation also offers various camping, recreation, and lawn care equipment at daily, weekend, and weekly rates. The office is open Thursday - Monday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.. Contact them at (850) 283-3199 with any questions, to reserve equipment, or sign up for a trip.

“We’re here for [you] to have fun,” said Robert Sprague, 325th FSS Outdoor Recreation director. We want [you] to make memories. We want [you] to have a good time”.
