Aaron Seda with the Garrison Information Management Office (GIMO) was awarded the Fort McCoy Garrison Civilian Employee of the Month for November 2019.

Seda serves as an information technology specialist with GIMO.

His duties require him to develop standard operational procedures for customer services provided to the garrison that encompass requisition, inventory, document control, and records maintenance, according to his job description. He assists all garrison organizations with information technology service requests and provides a response within agreed-upon time frames. He also serves as a liaison for obtaining and monitoring C4IM services from the local Network Enterprise Center.

Seda also is a SharePoint site administrator, providing backup administration and support for the garrison’s portal and subsites.

Seda was nominated for the honor by Scott Frosch, Plans, Analysis and Integration Office chief, for work he completed supporting the garrison.

Frosch thanked him during the presentation of the award Dec. 5. “Aaron, from me, thank you for all you do,” he said.

Seda was presented with a commander’s coin for excellence by Garrison Commander Col. Hui Chae Kim.

“Being a part of the Fort McCoy Garrison community has provided me with all the proper tools to be successful in my field,” Seda said. “I appreciate being recognized for my efforts but could not do it without the support and efforts of every individual within the garrison team.”

Located in the heart of the upper Midwest, Fort McCoy is the only U.S. Army installation in Wisconsin.

Fort McCoy lives its motto, “Total Force Training Center.”

The installation has provided support and facilities for the field and classroom training of more than 100,000 military personnel from all services each year since 1984.
