Contractors continue work on water main construction and replacement in the 1200 block on the cantonment area at Fort McCoy, Wis.

The construction is part of ongoing work to replace water mains throughout the installation that is being coordinated with contractors by the Fort McCoy Directorate of Public Works.

The work in the 1200 and nearby areas consists of replacing the water main and lateral services on South R Street from South 10th Avenue to South 11th Avenue.

Located in the heart of the upper Midwest, Fort McCoy is the only U.S. Army installation in Wisconsin.

The installation has provided support and facilities for the field and classroom training of more than 100,000 military personnel from all services each year since 1984.
