Mihail Kogalniceanu Air Base Halloween 5K Run/Walk

Taler Brazell with the 2nd General Support Aviation Battalion, 1st Aviation Regiment, 1st Infantry Division out of Ft. Riley. Prizes were given to the top three male and female runners.

U.S. service members, Canadian service members and civilians stationed at Mihail Kogalniceanu Air Base, Romania sign up before the Halloween 5K run/walk on Oct. 24, 2019. The event was hosted by the Morale, Welfare and Recreation on MKAB with prizes and handouts provided by the American Red Cross stationed at MKAB.

Prizes were given to the top three male and female runners. The 1st place male runner was 1st Lt. Austin Peterson with the 1st Battalion, 16th Infantry Regiment, 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division out of Ft. Riley. The 1st Place female runner was 1st Lt. Taler Brazell with the 2nd General Support Aviation Battalion, 1st Aviation Regiment, 1 ID.
