Naval Health Clinic Corpus Christi, Texas

Naval Health Clinic Corpus Christi will be administering Flu Shots to all active duty service members, NAS Corpus Christi Fire and Emergency Services personnel and Navy Child and Youth Program employees beginning Tuesday, Oct. 15.

In an effort to administer the vaccine in a manner that is efficient and convenient for our patients, six Flu Shot Standdown days have been scheduled at the NHC Corpus Christi auditorium.

    Oct. 15 (Tuesday) 7 – 11 a.m. and 1 – 3 p.m.
    Oct. 18 (Friday) 7 – 11 a.m. and 1 – 3 p.m.
    Oct. 21 (Monday) 7 – 11 a.m. and 1 – 3 p.m.
    Oct. 22 (Tuesday) 7 – 11 a.m. and 1 – 3 p.m.
    Oct. 25 (Friday) 7 – 11 a.m. and 1 – 3 p.m.
    Nov. 1 (Friday) 7 – 11 a.m. and 1 – 3 p.m.

All personnel will be required to present their military ID prior to being vaccinated.

Influenza vaccination is mandatory for all Department of Defense uniformed personnel, civilian child development services personnel and healthcare workers. To meet DoD and Navy readiness requirements, NHC Corpus Christi will focus its initial efforts on ensuring these personnel receive their Flu shot.

Those who are medically exempt from the vaccination should bring documentation from their Primary Care Physician / Flight Surgeon. Anyone who has already received the influenza vaccine from an approved network source is asked to bring in documentation to NHCCC vaccination site during the Flu Shot Standdown.

Flu shots for all other Tricare beneficiaries, such as military dependents, retirees and family members will be offered at a later date.
Once a date has been determined for beneficiary Flu shots, that information will be sent out to local commands, as well as through NHC Corpus Christi social media channels and TRICARE Online Secure Messaging.

To sign up for TRICARE Online Secure Messaging, visit app.tolmessaging.com and register as a patient.
