Sunrise over the McChord Flight Line brings gorgeous orange and purple hues to the gray skies of Tacoma Washington. The previous evenings rain showers have soaked the flight line, but does not delay preparations by airmen to get the bases fleet of C-17 Globemaster III's airborne for the days sorties and missions. As morning wears on, the sun breaks up the gray clouds to reveal beautiful blue skies.
