NORFOLK, Va. -- Electronics Technician Seaman (ETSN) Heriberto Gomez Jr. the son of Heriberto Gomez Sr. and Anita Ortega, a native of Keansburg New Jersey recently graduated from the Center for Surface Combat Systems (CSCS) Detachment.
The four-week course, Identification Friend or Foe, provides the technician with the knowledge and skills necessary to operate and perform documented preventive and corrective maintenance of readiness, in port and underway.
Gomez has been in the Navy since January 2019. He graduated from Keansburg High School and attended Brookdale Community College.
