    BACKGROUND: Chief Master Sergeant Saleem B. Winters is the operations and compliance superintendent for the 107th Logistics Readiness Squadron, 107th Attack Wing, New York Air National Guard, Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station, New York. Winters advises the commander on all matters affecting operations, training and readiness, health, morale and welfare, discipline and effective utilization of the squadron’s enlisted corps. Leading 44 enlisted personnel across eight career fields, the chief is responsible for ensuring standardization and efficient logistics operations, and ensures effective control of supplies, equipment, munition, and fuel valued at $22M in support of the 107th Attack Wing to include two geographically separated units (GSU); the 222nd Command and Control Squadron, Griffis Air Force Base, Rome, N.Y. and the 274th Air Support Operations Squadron, Hancock Field, Syracuse, N.Y.
