There were 430 guest that came to participate in the STEM LEGO Shipbuilding competition at the National Museum of the Sailor. The popular event originated from the Hampton Roads Naval Museum. Young builders were given STEM based kits to build ships from the keel up or use their own imaginations to create their own ships in the free play area. We also hosted a number of other cool activities such as craft making and outdoor games for kids of all ages.
