    117th Air Refueling Wing

Two KC-135 Stratotankers from the 117th Air Refueling Wing flew to Columbia to escort a flight of F-16s on their way home from a collaborative training mission with the Columbian Air Force. The jets needed to refuel periodically in order to make it across the Gulf of Mexico and back to the 169th Fighter Wing, S.C. Training missions like these serve to bolster the relationship between Columbia and the USA, and strengthen defensive capabilities in the region. (U.S. Air National Guard photos by: Staff Sgt.
