LOUISVILLE, Tenn. – The I.G. Brown Training and Education Center commended three Airmen here as its outstanding senior NCO, NCO, and civilian in the second quarter - including one Airman who achieved Air National Guard Readiness Center top NCO.

U.S. Air Force Col. Kenneth Lozano, the commander, announced the awardees at his recent Commander's Call all-staff meeting.

"Please congratulate these Airmen for their outstanding achievements," Colonel Lozano said. "Team TEC is very proud of you."

The Senior Noncommissioned Officer of the Quarter is Master Sgt. Kelly Collett, a broadcast journalist for the Professional Continuing Education Division.

Supervisors said that Sergeant Collett demonstrated leadership and performance by creating the first-ever Air National Guard animation course, instructing 13 students, which saved more than $40,000. He implemented a Continuous Process Improvement for live broadcasting, by building checklists and animation that reached more than 24,000 viewers.

Sergeant Collett volunteered with the local Christian youth program, where he mentored and instructed nine students as well as instilled ethical and moral values. He also supported nine community organizations by raising $1,500 in foreign and domestic aid.

The NCO of the Quarter, as well as ANGRC NCO of the Quarter, is Tech. Sgt. Grace Mayor, an enlisted professional military education instructor for the Chief Master Sergeant Paul H. Lankford Enlisted Professional Military Education Center.

Supervisors said that Sergeant Mayor demonstrated leadership and performance in her duties as she was the Airman Leadership School team lead. She coached and coordinated ten instructors and 141 students, which led to their successful graduations. She instructed two ALS classes and obtained her Community College of the Air Force Level One Instructor Certification.

Sergeant Mayor led a Military One Source event for students to increase their readiness and leadership resources. She graduated from the Instructor Certification Program, which enhanced her professional skill. She dedicated time to Bam Pow Creations and inspired more than 25 chronically ill and special needs youth in the community.

The Civilian of the Quarter is Dustin Russell, an instructional systems specialist for the Professional Continuing Education Division.

Supervisors said that Mr. Russell managed the Air National Guard Advanced Distributive Learning System help desk. He facilitated and validated 15 courses for more than 5,000 students. He developed and implemented the first ANG Liaison Training Course, which allowed continuity for more than 35 students.

Mr. Russell was instrumental in implementing the division's Chromebook program, which saved more than 20 hours and $2,500.

Mr. Russell contributed his time to five research-grade observations for the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, creating an educational display and collecting a variety of river samples.

Quarterly awardees receive recognition at the next commander's call as well as an award plaque, parking privileges, and other accolades.
