The 20th Force Support Squadron hosted the annual Freedom Bash, June 29.
The event offered thousands of Team Shaw members food and entertainment, including a free concert featuring Chase Bryant and Leslie Tom, before a fireworks display finale.
The festivities, which were a culmination of a year of planning, celebrated the hard work of military members and their families, said Derrick Rhems, 20th FSS marketing and promotions director.
Select guests were also given the opportunity to meet Bryant and Tom before the concert, leaving many individuals with lasting memories of the event.
Tom took to social media following the Freedom Bash, saying “Aside from marrying my husband and giving birth to my daughter, it was the best night of my life! Shaw (Air Force Base), you will always hold a very special place in my heart!”
