Malmstrom Air Force base will be hosting its annual base picnic, a free concert and laser light show July 3rd, 2019.
The base picnic starts at 3:41 p.m. at Medal of Honor Park and will have free food, games and more.
Team Malmstrom hosts the base picnic each year to take a step back from the daily grind of the mission and focus on relaxing and sharing camaraderie with family, friends and coworkers.
Following the base picnic, Freedom Fest, a free concert featuring country music groups Easton Corbin and Thompson Square, will take place at 7:30 p.m.
Corbin and Thompson Square partner with Air Force Entertainment and the U.S. Air Force to perform at several Air Force bases during the Independence Day week.
To close the festivities, a laser light show, hosted by DayStar Laser, will begin at 10:30 p.m. DayStar is a full-service laser show production company specializing in special events.
Their show will pay tribute to Independence Day and feature images from across Montana.
