Mudders navigated obstacles June 8, 2019, for the 2019 Fort McCoy Army Mud Assault Run at Whitetail Ridge Ski Area at Fort McCoy, Wis.
Hundreds competed in the children and adult races that included 25 mud pits and obstacles. The event was coordinated by the Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation.
Located in the heart of the upper Midwest, Fort McCoy is the only U.S. Army installation in Wisconsin.
The installation has provided support and facilities for the field and classroom training of more than 100,000 military personnel from all services each year since 1984.
