NASHVILLE, Tenn. (May 3, 2019) -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District invites the public to a workshop for revision of the Dale Hollow Lake Master Plan from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 6, 2019 at the Livingston Community Center in Livingston, Tenn. Corps officials are also available to discuss changes to the Master Plan and to receive public comments during daytime hours June 6 at the Resource Manager’s Office in Celina, Tenn.
The purpose of this workshop and Open House is to provide the public with an opportunity to comment on the proposed improvements to the current 1976 Master Plan. An associated draft Environmental Assessment (EA) is going to be available for review and comment and have a concurrent public comment period.
Resource Manager Stephen Beason said that this gives the public an opportunity to review the elements that make up the master plan and provide comments. There will be no formal presentation so the interested parties can stop by any time to obtain information and provide input.
A link to the draft copy of the Master Plan can be viewed prior to the public events by visiting https://usace.contentdm.oclc.org/digital/collection/p16021coll7/id/10596 and is going to be available for review at the workshop and open house.
The public can also request a copy of the documents by emailing a request to DaleHollowLake@usace.army.mil. Written comments and requests are accepted at the workshop, Open House, via e-mail to DaleHollowLake@usace.army.mil or by mail to the Dale Hollow Lake Resource Manager’s Office at 540 Dale Hollow Dam Road, Celina, TN 38551. All comments and requests must be received by the Resource Manager’s Office no later than Sunday, July 7, 2019 to be considered.
