Soldiers of the 301st Field Hospital (HHD) practice suturing techniques during drill weekend. SGT Kursar, a senior medic in the 301st FH, demonstrated proper suture techniques for various lacerations. Once the didactic class was complete, Soldier received hands on experience using pigs feet. These classes increase Soldiers skills and overall unit readiness while keeping the Soldiers engaged in training.
