FORT BRAGG, N.C. – NASCAR drove into Fort Bragg for a military appreciation event April 17, 2019, to learn more about the installation, and to meet with troops and family members, and to honor the fallen
Driver of the No. 6 car, Ryan Newman, and other NASCAR professionals learned firsthand about Fort Bragg’s capabilities.
As part of the military appreciation day event, NASCAR unveiled a race car labeled with the name of Sgt. James Nolen, who was killed in action during his 2009 deployment to Afghanistan.
