The 104th Fighter Wing hosted the Family Readiness Group at an appreciation dinner March 25, 2019, in West Springfield, Massachusetts.
The FRG is a network of volunteers who aim to support military members and their families. They provide information and support to members when they are at home and deployed. This ensures the service member’s family understands what is happening, and makes them feel like a part of the organization, said Col. Peter T. Green III, 104th Fighter Wing commander.
“We ask a tremendous amount from the people that serve in uniform,” said Green. “Their families are serving as well.”
During the appreciation dinner, Col. Green thanked the FRG members for their support of the wing’s members and their families.
“We’re fortunate that we have our Family Readiness Group and our key partners that are willing to get involved with our organization and willing to help out our members of the 104th Fighter Wing and their families,” said Green.
