    Marine Corps Installations East

Beginning April 1, 2019, all non-affiliated contractors, vendors and other non-Department of Defense personnel will be unable to access Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune and Marine Corps Air Station New River unless they have secured a Defense Biometric I.D. System (DBIDS) credential. Personnel with unexpired RAPIDGate or MCESS credentials have access to the installation until March 31, 2019. After that, any personnel without a valid DBIDS credential will be denied base access.
DBIDS will be replacing previously held access credentials to establish a more secure and more efficient method for contractors and non-DoD-affiliated personnel to access Marine Corps installations.
Current contractors can exchange their unexpired credential for a DBIDS credential at the Main Gate Visitor Center on MCB Camp Lejeune or MCAS New River. The Main Gate Visitor Center on MCB Camp Lejeune is open Monday through Friday from 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and the Main Gate Visitor Center on MCAS New River is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

To reduce wait times when exchanging an existing access credential, it is highly recommended each applicant pre-register at https://dbids-global.dmdc.mil/enroll#!/. Once the pre-registration data is entered into the system, it will be retained for 30 days.

All new contractors will still be required to secure a DBIDS credential at the Contractor Vetting Office (CVO), located at the Wilson Gate on Camp Lejeune.
If you have questions regarding the exchange of a current base access credential for a DBIDS credential, or you are a new contractor seeking enrollment into DBIDS, please contact the CVO at 910-450-0283/0284/0285.
