Garrison Sexual Harassment Assault Response Program (SHARP) Victim Advocate Ryan Harvey taught a SHARP refresher course Dec. 18, 2018, at Fort McCoy, Wis.
SHARP is an integrated, proactive effort by the Army to end sexual harassment and sexual assault within its ranks and promotes cultural change across the Army with a vision toward a culture of discipline and respect in which Army personnel intervene in sexual harassment and sexual assault to protect one another.
All Fort McCoy personnel are required to complete SHARP training annually.
Harvey is with Army Community Services of the Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation.
Located in the heart of the upper Midwest, Fort McCoy is the only U.S. Army installation in Wisconsin. The installation has provided support and facilities for the field and classroom training of more than 100,000 military personnel from all services each year since 1984.
