Q: Why did you join the Army?

A: Being able to choose my MOS was a factor, but I also joined with my brother. He’s a crew chief on a chinook.

Q: How is 35F different from any other MOS?

A: At least as it applies where I am currently, an “all-source” analyst makes assessments of the battlefield for units. We record our findings and send them to commanders.

    Q: What are your hobbies?

A: I like to fish and take time out with the family.

Q: What are your long-term goals?

A: I want to be a Sergeant Major. When I retire I’d like to work as a defense contractor in the Intelligence field.

Q: What is favorite aspect of Ft. Bragg?

A: Definitely the location. We’re close to the mountains and the beach. My family resides in South Carolina, so it’s a pretty quick drive.

Q: What is your favorite part about being a soldier?

A: With our job now, we get to provide a real effect on the battlefield since we support a live mission down range. Knowing that we’re helping save lives.

Q: What is your favorite part about the 525th Military Intelligence Brigade?

A: Probably the comradery. Everyone seems to get along and have a good time in this unit while keeping their military bearing.
