    -- Enlisted as a Manual Morse Operator in the Military Intelligence branch
    -- First Cyber Operations Technician to serve at ACI and as instructor at West Point
    -- One of the first junior warrant officers assigned to the Army Network Warfare Battalion, part of the Army’s early efforts to evolve cyberspace operations
    -- During a tour as an operational cyber team lead, her team was nominated for the National Security Agency Director’s Trophy and Team Excellence Award
    -- Awarded the Saint Isidore Army Cyber Award in 2015

    “The aspect I like most about Army cyber is feeling extremely fortunate to serve as a Soldier and be a part of one of the Army's most unique and evolving missions.”

    “I love serving my country. I've had the opportunity to gain experience through training and exposure to operations that the civilian sector could not provide. I've also had the opportunity to attend college and achieve a master's degree, and all accomplished while serving as an active-duty Soldier.”

    ON THE REWARDS OF BEING AN ARMY CYBER CAREER WARRIOR:
    “The biggest reward about being an Army cyber warrior is having the opportunity to contribute to the Army, the Department of Defense and our nation. Knowing that what I do has impact to keeping or military and nation safe is pretty incredible! In addition, I love serving as leader and mentor to other Soldiers and civilians.”

    ON WHAT ADVICE SHE WOULD GIVE SOMEONE CONSIDERING BECOMING AN ARMY CYBER OFFICER OR WARRANT OFFICER:
    “For people on the fence about becoming an Army cyber officer or warrant, my advice is do not hesitate to explore all the possibilities of the cyber community. Ask questions, seek out individuals who have been in the trenches to get ground truth on what this job is all about.”
